Healdsburg Demographics

According to the 2010 United States Census, the population of Healdsburg was about 11,254 residents. The population density was 2,521.3 people per square mile. The population was split into 4,378 households. Of the households, 30.5% had children 18 years of age or younger living with them, 48.9% were opposite sex married couples living together, 10.6% had a single female head-of-household, 5.1% had a single male head-of-household, 5.9% were unmarried opposite sex couples living together, and 1.2% were same-sex married couples or partnerships. 27.5% of the households were made up of individuals, and 12.4% were people living alone that were 65 years of age or older.

In 2010, 22.6% of the population was under the age of 18, 8.2% were between 18 and 24, 24.4% were between 25 and 44, 29.8% were between 45 and 64 years old, and 15% were 65 years old or older. The median age was 40.8 years old.

The racial profile of Healdsburg was as follows: 74.1% white residents, 33.9% Hispanic or Latino residents, 1.8% Native American residents, 1.1% Asian residents, .5% black residents, and .2% Pacific Islander residents. 19% of Healdsburg residents considered themselves from an “other” race, and 3.4% of residents were two or more races.
